Best Diaper Pails 2020

Ah, the smell of babies especially newborns are so addicting, but not their poop. So we have a solution for that – the best diaper pails.

There are some days that the smell of their feces is just so unbearable. That’s why most parents would recommend a trash bin that can seal tightly to keep the stinky smell away.

Another positive thing about using the right diaper pail and avoid the use of plastic bags would be that you will be able to help the environment recover from the damage that plastic has been bring.

Speaking of this, if you can absolutely avoid it, I encourage parents to use cloth diapers because the diapers that you purchase from the supermarket do not decompose.

With that said, I understand also if you would prefer to buy so you won’t have to wish every single time. Hopefully these diaper pails will be able to help make it even more convenient for you.

Of course, you can purchase these from your local store and online, but you need to choose a good one that will make you life more convenient. Let’s take a look at some products.

1.) UBBI STEEL ODOR LOCKING

Best Diaper Pails

Nice thing about this is that it doesn’t require a special bag for each diaper.

The original price of this product is at 79.89 US DOLLARS, but as of the moment, there is a sale happening at Amazon, so you can have this product at only 55.99 US DOLLARS.

You will be able to save as much as 23.90 US DOLLARS, but aside from that, you will also be able to save money because like I said above, there is no need for you to purchase special poop bags.

Also no need for refills or inserts unlike the other pails on the market.

I feel that I must also mention that this pail is award winning, and it won not just one award but nine awards proving that parents and experts approve of this product.

The steel locks in the odor compared to pails made with plastic. You see, steel is not porous and it really keeps the smell shielded inside. Steel is also easy to clean.

This product is also just easy to understand. It is simple and uncomplicated. Ready to use right out of the box, which is really convenient. No assembly required and it is also not prone to breakage compared to the plastic made ones.

If you are worried that your child or maybe a pet may find this pail, open it, and make a mess, let me ease your mind by letting you know about the childproof lock it has. No mess!

There are also a lot of colors to choose from so it will match the design or theme of your nursery.

Let’s see what one buyer has to say about it:

I use this can to temporarily dispose of used “puppy pads” when my two small dogs go potty.

They are senior citizens now, and I don’t want them to feel like they have to hold it all night (or during a long day), so I leave puppy pads on the floor of the bathroom in my apartment.

The Ubbi can is a great place to toss the used pads so I don’t need to trek down the hall to the garbage chute in the middle of the night.

I never leave the used pads in the can for longer than a day, although the smell inside still gets pretty atrocious. Once the can is closed, though, it does a great job of locking the odor inside.

I did find that putting a small, open container of odor-absorbing cat litter (I used a leftover plastic takeout food container) on the floor of the can (so it sits below the bag and doesn’t interfere with anything) does help to absorb some of the smell.

I attached a photo showing my cat litter container sitting in the can. You’re still going to want to hold your breath when you open the can, though! I had tried using a Litter

Genie for this same purpose and not only was it too small, but the custom bags were a pain in the neck and expensive. This is a far superior alternative for my purposes.” – SoCal Girl

“My husband got me this as a gift and it is really great. And because these products are especially made for stinky diapers, it prevents the poop smell to escape from the container, maintaining the good smell of the baby’s room.

Love it! Definitely a must buy!!!! Best gift LOL” – Happy Momma

  1. It’s so funny to see how many new products were invented for new parents in recent years. When I was young, we still washed the cloth diapers by hand. That was a pain! Now, not only you have disposable diapers, but also special cans to keep them before taking the garbage out.

Personally, I just threw pee diapers in our regular bin that we take out every day. I put the poopy ones in a plastic bag and tied tight before throwing in the bin. That’s it. But I’m on a budget and only buy what I must.

If I had more money to spend, I’d buy the steel can. The plastic one is nice as well, but only using special bags will be too expensive at the end.

    • That’s true. I guess they invented a specific pail for diapers so that poo won’t mix with biodegradable stuff you can find in most trash cans. And it can keep the smell of the poop contained 😉
